Job Summary
Provides analytical, budget, process and system support for work unit. Works independently and identifies appropriate course of action to analyze issues, recommend solutions and administer programs. Performs analysis, research and studies to improve business processes.
Accountabilities:
- Completes project plans, identifies resources, and coordinates groups to ensure
tasks are performed to meet deadlines
- Reviews and independently identifies and resolves problems
- Prepares and presents findings and recommendations to management
- Establishes and maintains process for collection of proposed projects
- Establishes and maintains process for replacement of approved projects with
more critical projects during the course of the budget year
- Monitors budget and implements changes as needed to assure meeting end of
year budget
- Leads major projects, conducts meetings, and informally leads other employees
- Performs investigations and moderately complex analyses statistical, trend, root
cause,etc.
Qualifications
-Must receive a "Recommended" score on a pre-hire assessment
- High School diploma or equivalent, required.
- Bachelor's degree, preferred.
- Three to four (3-4) years of experience in analytical role
- Three to four (3-4) years of budget development/budget management experience
- Knowledge of DTE/MichCon business and culture
- Computer skills: Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes, Reporting and Workload
Management software (i.e., Crystal ADW, STORMS systems), budget systems,
etc. as appropriate
